The booster meeting for August will be on Tuesday, August 31st at 7pm in the BCHS band room.

The July Booster meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 27th at 7:00pm in the BCHS Band Room.  Everyone is invited to attend.

The regularly scheduled Booster meeting will be held on Tuesday June 29, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Burke County High School Band Room.  The agenda for this meeting can be found on the “Booster” page of the website.

Thank you for all who were in attendance at the Officer Election Meeting.  The new incoming officers for the 2010-2011 term are: Cameron Grunewald, President — Aleena Headrick, Vice President — Kathi May, Treasurer –Sharon Cooper, Secretary.

The Fall fruit fundraiser sale will be from October 5th through November 9th, with fruit being delivered about the first week in December.Your band student will be bringing home order forms on Oct 5th, so be on the look out for these.Sales can be made locally with the order-form or online ordering using the link located on the front page of the band site.This is a *HUGE* fundraiser for our band kids — let’s encourage them to participate and help earn their Spring Trip funds!!!

At the monthly booster meeting held on April 28th, the new 2009-2010 officers were elected.  Congratulations to our new President: Esther Kitchens and our new Vice President Ann Watson!

Band Banquet for all band students and families will be held on Monday, May 4th at 7:00pm at BCHS. Each student will be given two tickets, additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each until April 30th.

The fruit fundraiser is underway, all forms and money must be turned in on or before Nov 10, 2008. I will post the delivery date after the fruit has been ordered.
